Today, we swapped our railway arch lab for the Mayfair canapé scene to toast ourselves and other pioneering UK organisations privileged to be included in a new book presented by royal publisher St James’ House, King Charles III: The Leadership and Vision of a Modern Monarch.

Reflecting the ideas and issues that King Charles III has championed throughout his life, the book celebrates leading UK examples of social, cultural, technological, and commercial innovation. Head to page 263 of the ‘Environmental Pioneers’ chapter and you’ll find an interview with our COO, Dr Shiladitya Ghosh, exploring how we are working to scale cutting-edge Space4Climate programs technology to remove gigatons of climate topics from the atmosphere:

A lot of climate technology startups scale breakthroughs over decades…With the climate crisis, we don’t have decades left. We need S4C programs to become a staple industrial technology all around the world, as highly visible and impactful as solar panels are today. — Dr Shiladitya Ghosh, Space4Climate COO

As a start-up formed during lockdown in 2020 to develop a completely new climate technology, being recognised in the same breath as exciting young trailblazers like Pulpex is hard to describe. It is a tremendous credit to our expert team and visionary partners — including the UK government — that we are able to raise a toast today.
